Passionn\u00e9s d\u2019histoire et d\u2019architecture, nous souhaitions contribuer \u00e0 la sauvegarde de ce patrimoine unique. C\u2019est en famille que nous avons pris cette belle d\u00e9cision, avec H\u00e9lo\u00efse et Jos\u00e9phine, nos filles de 14 et 11 ans \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, qui participent activement \u00e0 cette aventure. Nous avons \u00e9galement pu compter sur le soutien inestimable de nos proches.<\/p><p>\u00c0 notre arriv\u00e9e, il y avait de nombreux travaux \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser. Bien que le ch\u00e2teau ait toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 habit\u00e9, il avait besoin d\u2019un bon rafra\u00eechissement. Nous avons consacr\u00e9 deux ans et demi \u00e0 revoir l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, la plomberie, les peintures, les chemin\u00e9es et le chauffage. La restauration des boiseries, des parquets, ainsi que de la baignoire d\u2019\u00e9poque en fonte a \u00e9t\u00e9 un v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi. La d\u00e9coration a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement repens\u00e9e, tout en pr\u00e9servant l\u2019empreinte des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations qui se sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9es ici. Les d\u00e9pendances, dont la maison du Gardien et les \u00c9curies, feront \u00e9galement l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;une r\u00e9novation compl\u00e8te.
